This section is about Authorised Sellers of Poisons (ASP) and Listed Sellers of Poisons (LSP), their licensing and the retail sale of Poisons.

ASPs are the proper licensed pharmacies which sell prescription medication, LSPs are stores which can sell the types of medicines which don't require supervision such as small boxes of paracetamol (acetominophen).

Please note that the details in the PPO are more like outlines and basics, and more in depth requirements are covered in the Code of Practice for ASPs (see link below). It may be helpful for you to read through the code of practise first before tackling the PPO and the following section.
